Own the finance function in a people-first business...

We are recruiting a Finance Manager to join our client, based in stunning(!) offices in Alderley Park.

You will report directly into the CEO with support from a Fractional FD, giving you autonomy to run the finance function, with the help of a Finance Assistant.

• Up to £48k D.O.E
• 9AM - 5.30PM Monday - Friday (part time options also available, if preferred)

What will you be doing as the Finance Manager?

• Business partnering with the CEO, senior managers and leadership team.
• Analysing financial results to recommend actionable strategies.
• Full ownership of month-end management accounts.
• Preparation of audit-ready balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany postings.
• Oversight of Finance Assistant's work across AR/AP.
• Weekly cash flow forecasting.
• Payroll processing using an external provider.
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and annual audit packs, including handling auditor queries.

What do you need to be considered for the role?

• A minimum of 2 years' experience within a role involving management accounts including month end reporting.
• Fully qualified in either ACA/ ACCA/ or CIMA.
