Crynodeb
To drive a minibus/MPV in a responsible and competent manner, ensuring the safety and comfort of School passengers
• School Term- August 25- June 26- up to 12.50 hrs Morning and Evenings; additional sessional hrs maybe available.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Report any vehicle defects and faults.
• Refuel vehicle as required.
• Be responsible for the safety and comfort of passengers.
• Follow appropriate health and safety legislation
• When necessary, assist passengers entering and leaving the vehicle.
• Maintain the vehicle driver’s records.
• Undertake shift working including some early starts and/or late finishes
• Clean and maintain the vehicle while under your control as required at the beginning and end of shift
• Any other duties as required to ensure the efficient running of SACT and the hire of minibuses
• A full, clean driving license with
• Up to date MiDAS certification (or be prepared to undertake this training as soon as is practicable)
• Outgoing personality who enjoys working with people, especially children and young adults
• Current PVG scheme membership (Disclosure) or willingness to have a check undertaken.
