Crynodeb
Ward 2 is a general medical ward, the majority of patient's are frail elderly with complex needs and discharge planning. Patient Safety - NEWS Score, infection control, administer prescribed medication, discharge planning and incident reporting. Safe staffing. Quality - in the absence of ward manager to attend weekly monthly Governance meetings, weekly huddle, length of stay, mentor students, audits and waste management. Behaviours - be courteous, professional helpful and polite at all times, deal with concerns and complaints, Annual Appraisals, roster monitoring
