Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 40Manor Grange Care Home is set in the charming area of Pinkhill, providing high-quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 83 residents.
We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering nutritious, well-balanced meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This is an opportunity to contribute to the daily comfort and enjoyment of our residents by helping to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

What You Will Do
As Kitchen Assistant, you will help prepare food to a high standard, maintain hygiene in all kitchen areas, and support in receiving and storing deliveries. You will follow safe food handling procedures, keep equipment clean and organised, and ensure that all supplies are stored appropriately. Your role will also involve supporting your colleagues and contributing to a positive, respectful working environment.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring good organisational and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work as part of a team. Experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is welcome but not essential — more important is a keen eye for detail, understanding of food safety principles, and a proactive, reliable approach to your work.
