Crynodeb
As Technical Manager, you will be required to develop the skills of production operatives to ensure a high level of quality is achieved and maintained in the production and manufacturing processes.
Based at our premises, you will carry out product training to demonstrate the benefits and installation procedures of our products to our customers. You will work with our marketing team creating product installation videos and technical literature and will be responsible for researching and writing new installation guidance for products.
As part of your daily responsibilities, you be required to respond to customer technical calls to advise and offer guidance.
You will be required to manage/coordinate and attend customer trade events speaking with customers to offer guidance on our product range with the aim to increase product awareness.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
o Develop your technical knowledge of company product range
o Manage and coordinate technical training days
o Develop the skills of production operatives
o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
o Develop manufacturing quality control measures and standards
o Answer customer technical queries (emails and telephone)
o Controlling maintenance tools, spares stock and related equipment
o Maintain the required standards of housekeeping
o Undertake any other tasks or duties as required by Directors.
Key skills and Qualifications:
o A high level of attention to detail
o Hands on approach - ability to demonstrate product application
o Excellent time management skills and a flexible approach
o Min 5 years’ experience in similar role
o A good level of numeracy and literacy including the ability to use relevant computer programs – including but not limited to; Word; Excel; Teams and Outlook
o Great communicative skills at all levels
o Experience in CNC machinery and power tool use
o Ability to work on own initiative
o Ability to problem solve in a high production-based environment.
A professional qualification in one of the following:
o Manufacturing
o Engineering
o Construction skills
o Construction management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay negotiable: £42,000.00 - £55,000.00 per year depending on experience.
Working hours:
o Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm (flexible)
o When required, a flexibility to work “out of office hours”
o 28 days annual leave including bank holidays, increasing with service
o Workplace pension scheme (optional)
