REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
Salary: £77,250 per annum
Working Hours: Full-Time, Permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday between 8:30am and 5:30pm (1 Hour Lunch Break)
Location: Trinity Buoy Wharf E14 0JW
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Regional Account Manager to join our G4S Facilities Management team. Based at Trinity Buoy Wharf , you will be instrumental in overseeing our East London facilities management contracts, specifically within Tower Hamlets and Greenwich schools.
As Regional Account Manager, you'll collaborate with colleagues across multiple accounts, championing a "one team" approach. You'll also be responsible for leading and supporting the regional operational teams, effectively representing both G4S and our clients' needs
The successful candidate will own the relationship with operational delivery and operational functional support teams to ensure delivery of Client and G4S contractual requirements.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Strategic Leadership & Performance Management
Champion G4S Values, particularly a zero-tolerance approach to harm, integrating them into all daily operations.
Drive continuous improvement by ensuring timely completion of all Health & Safety and compliance actions, analyzing them to identify systemic issues.
Support the Operations Director in managing contracts, achieving financial targets, and delivering safe, effective facilities management services.
Lead and manage a regional functional services support team, including administrative personnel.
Proactively identify and implement process improvements with urgency.
Reporting & Compliance
Compile and coordinate critical data (statistics, financial, performance returns) and produce detailed internal and external monthly performance reports. Highlight successes and track improvements to exceed expectations.
Maintain and adhere to the contractual obligations matrix for all accounts.
Ensure direct reports and operational leads follow standard procedures and prioritize tasks, consistently meeting all statutory and legislative requirements on time.
Monitor and ensure timely completion of training plans, with demonstrable compliance.
Audit and document site logbooks for fire, water, and asbestos management with the Hard Services Manager.
Workforce & Client Management
Monitor and report on labor establishment vs. actual headcount, detailing deviations and plans to regain control.
Strategically manage agency labor expenditure, prioritizing internal recruitment to fill permanent G4S positions rather than relying on agency staff.
Collaborate with Helpdesk and Hard Services Leads to support operational teams with contractor performance and reviews.
Attend monthly contract performance reviews, ensuring actions are completed on time.
Participate in Client meetings, reporting on service delivery performance, including Payment Mechanism reviews and mitigation justifications.
The Ideal Candidate:
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has:
Demonstrable experience in a PFI/PPP environment, particularly within schools, though this is not essential.
An extensive background in Facilities Management
IOSH Managing Safely certification
Experience of managing multiple regional contracts
Expertise in statutory compliance management
Proficient in CAFM and PPM planning, including forward maintenance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong stakeholder management abilities
Good commercial acumen
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
