Based: London Road with a requirement to travel to other sites as required
Salary: £27864.20pa - Temporary until 31st March 2026
Hours: 35 hours per week

Post end Date: This is a temporary contract position of 35 hours per week starting on 1st July 2025 and ending on 31st March 2026

This role is part of the YMCA Derbyshire Lifelong Learning offer.

As part of the Lifelong Learning team your role is to project manage designated employability projects.

To coordinate and deliver training courses for young people who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or training) to develop employability and the sector specific skills knowledge and attributes they require to access local jobs.

This will involve working as part of a team to provide practical and theoretical support to a case load of project participants with a focus Early years and health and social care jobs.

It will be essential for you to find creative and innovative ways to engage and motivate participants, and to give them a voice.
A driving license and use of own car is essential as there will be an expectation to work across numerous sites.

The appointment is subject to YMCA Derbyshire receiving two satisfactory references, an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and a six-month probationary period.
