Are you a compassionate, enthusiastic individual ready to take the next step in your care career? At Prospect House, part of the HICA Group, we’re looking for someone just like you to join our dedicated team as a Senior Care Assistant.
The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
Pay & Hours:
£13.22 per hour
24.5 hours per week
Night shifts: 2 shifts per week (18:45 – 07:00)
Rota includes alternate weekends
£500 Welcome Bonus – paid in two milestone instalments!
The Role:
YAs a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll lead by example—supporting your team, ensuring high standards of care, and helping our residents live their best lives. You’ll be supported every step of the way by our Deputy and Residential Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentor and support new and existing team members
Review and update care plans
Administer and manage medication safely
Provide personal care with dignity and respect
Build strong relationships with residents and their families
Promote independence and wellbeing
Report safeguarding concerns promptly.
About you:
Ideally hold NVQ Level 2 in Care (or be ready to work towards it)
Confident in leading a team and managing workloads
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Previous experience in a care setting is essential.
