At Ascendancy Partnership Trust our mission is to provide the best possible education and therapeutic support for children and young people with additional complex needs both in special and mainstream schools.
We believe that therapies are a vital part of school life, sit side by side with education and are woven into the curriculum. As one of our team of expert therapists, you will work alongside teachers with expertise in pedagogy for learning difficulties, autism and SEMH to create an optimum learning environment in a specialist education Trust.
Reporting to the Head of Therapy Hub, you will deliver Speech and Language Therapy support to teaching staff and will be responsible for clinically supervising school-based therapy assistants at either Manor Green School (Cox Green), Brookfields School (Tilehurst) or Addington School (Woodley).
With your degree level professional qualification and HCPC registration, you will use your experience to work collaboratively to help deliver integrated therapeutic support in Trust schools as part of an outstanding joined-up service.
This is a rare opportunity to use your expertise to make a real difference in a SEND Trust, to be part of a growing service from inception whilst enhancing your own professional development.
Are you ready to make a difference? If so, APPLY Today!
We will then contact you about the next stage in our recruitment process. We welcome applications from all sections of the community.
We are Stronger and Better Together.
The Ascendancy Partnership Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening and safer recruitment checks appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the DBS. This position is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
