Total Social are working with Salford City Council who are looking for an experienced locum Adult's Social Worker for their Community Mental Health Services.
Mental health Adult Social Care is delivered in Salford in accordance with local s.75 arrangements. This results in mental health social workers being based within integrated and multi-disciplinary community teams within Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.
You will need to have good interpersonal skills, experience of delivering the relevant social care statutory functions, be committed to providing a person centred and strengths based approach and be able to work efficiently / flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
Applicants must be able to use a car as there will be a need to travel around Salford and also out of area boroughs with respect to out of area placements. A collaborative approach with other Review Officers will be needed to promote effective delivery across all the CMHTs, not just at respective teams.
