Key Account Manager
Location: Kingston upon Thames, KT2 7QB

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with both Client Teams and NHS customers, ensuring a high level of service delivery and satisfaction.
You will take full ownership of operational and financial performance, leading a multi-disciplinary team made up of individuals from a range of backgrounds and skill sets.

You will identify and develop new business opportunities, while effectively managing commercial risks to support sustainable growth.
Promoting and embedding a culture where Health & Safety comes first is essential, ensuring compliance and best practice across all operations.

Key Responsibilities
Embed a “Safety First” culture and ensure full compliance with HASAW, Food Safety, and COSHH regulations
Maintain high hygiene and work standards, managing staff behaviour and appearance across sites
Monitor financial performance and site resource planning, including capex, staffing, and labour efficiency
Lead quality assurance processes to meet both ISS and client standards
Build strong relationships with NHS clients and ensure clear, effective communication at all levels
Deliver accurate and timely site financial reports with a focus on control and continuous improvement
Uphold brand standards and ensure the site reflects ISS's professional image at all times
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven track record in facilities operations, especially in cleaning or catering within healthcare, retail, or hospitality
Experience leading and developing diverse teams across various service lines
Extensive experience in operational management with financial and commercial responsibility, ideally in PFI or multi-functional healthcare
Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage client relationships effectively
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects
Skilled in communication, influence, and stakeholder engagement at all levels
Creative, proactive, and resilient in addressing operational challenges
