MountCare Residential are seeking passionate and enthusiastic Residential Support Workers to join us on a permanent basis (both full and part time) in our Ingleside, Colwyn Bay, provision. The new home offers placements to young people between the ages of 8 to 18, who have social, emotional and mental health needs.
We provide high quality homes for young people, which offer an atmosphere that promotes safety, trust, fairness and privacy for its young people within an environment, which is safe and caring.
MountCare Residential places great emphasis on person centred support and finding approaches which ensure that children and young people can work towards their goals and aspirations by allowing them to develop in an environment which is tailored to their needs.
Being a Support Worker at MountCare Residential means you will work very closely with young people that may display challenging behaviour and so you will be required to develop excellent relationships driven by trust. You will also be required to support our young people on a practical basis to ensure that they are prepared for a bright and productive future.
Within your role as a Support Worker, you will be offered first class training, excellent progression opportunities and support by an experienced staff team. We are looking for individuals who are committed and passionate about what they do and have a can-do attitude to help our young people succeed.

A strong work ethic and a willingness to go the extra mile.
A compassionate and honest person with the highest levels of integrity.
Passionate about providing high quality and person-centred support.
An excellent communicator, both written and verbal who has the ability to work well with others.
A great team player and a friendly personality.
A flexible individual who has the ability to adapt to requirements.
A full driver’s license
If not already qualified, a willingness to work towards your QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People.
It would also be great if you have:
An awareness of PBS or experience with challenging behaviour.
QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People.
