We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver (HGV) - Grade E to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods and materials across various locations. Additionally, you will be required to keep the vehicle in optimal condition through regular maintenance checks and communication with the fleet management team. Responsibilities
Operate HGV vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations
Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled timelines
Inspect and maintain the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
Complete all necessary paperwork, including logs of deliveries and vehicle checks
Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and stakeholders
Assist with loading and unloading goods as required
Collaborate with the logistics team to enhance operational efficiency
Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements
Valid HGV Grade E driving license
Proven experience as an HGV driver
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance
Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of local routes
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and lifting when necessary
Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 5 years.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 06:30
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £15.08
