Contract: Fixed Term initially for 1 year but may be extended depending upon funding
Salary: £25,183 - £27,269 (full time full year equivalent)
Actual Salary: £10,281 - £11,133 per annum (Grade 3)
Work Pattern: Term time + 5 days
Hours: 17.5 per week, term time only plus 5 days (Mornings)
Based: Buckstones Community Primary School, Delamere Avenue, Shaw Oldham, OL2 8HN
Start Date: 1st. September 2025

The Governors of this friendly, successful, one-form entry, Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and committed Teaching Assistant who can make a significant contribution to the school.
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual who can demonstrate a commitment to promoting children’s achievements. We are looking for a Teaching Assistants who is:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Friendly, caring, hard-working and supportive with high expectations.
- Key Stage 2 experience.
- Excellent practitioners who are able to work in partnership with the class teacher.
- Committed to developing good relationships with pupils, staff at the school, parents and outside agencies.
