The hours of work are Monday to Friday between 8.40am and 12.15pm with an unpaid morning break. This is a term time only contract commencing 1st September 2025. Under the direction and supervision of the class teacher core responsibilities include:
Working as an LSA in Yr1 Following the instructions of the class teacher and SENCOClarifying and explaining instructions Communicating effectivelyMotivating pupils to learn Organising the learning environment Key Accountabilities will be: Assisting in the delivery of day to day learning activities Discussing with and reporting back to teacher on pupil’s work Organising and maintaining the learning environment Working as part of a team Maintaining confidentiality inside and outside the workplace Understanding and applying school policiesThe LSA may be required to undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by the class teacherWe offer a lovely setting, excellent facilities and resources, supportive colleagues and enthusiastic children. The school has close links to the community and local church and our parent community is extremely supportive. Successful applicants must be able to support the distinctive Christian ethos of our school but do not have to be a practising Christian.Benefits include term time only working, free parking, membership of the Surrey Pension Scheme, access to the Employee Assistance Program and Occupational Health Support as required.
