PERMANENT HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT
(Pupil Wellbeing)
32.5 hours, term time plus 5 training days
Salary: NJC point 12 -19 £20,945 – £23,482 per annum
The Governors at Ysgol Porth y Felin are seeking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to support the wellbeing, inclusion and emotional and social development of identified pupils. The HLTA will work with individuals and small groups both in and out of the classroom, promoting engagement, improving self-esteem, and helping pupils to overcome barriers to learning. The role involves delivering tailored interventions, supporting transitions, and working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies.
It is a requirement that successful candidate will need to register with the Education Workforce Council prior to commencing employment.
Due to the nature of the post the successful candidate will be subject to a disclosure by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
