Yattendon School is a friendly, three-form entry junior school, based in Horley, Surrey, providing a strong supportive caring environment where children thrive, grow and achieve. We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our dynamic and developing organisation, benefiting a new all-weather sports pitch and a major refurbishment of classrooms, we are able to offer you and our children a modern and dynamic learning environment.
We are looking for a SEN Learning Support Assistant who cares about providing both academic and nurture support in class for our wonderful children. Your role will be to work as part of a supportive team to enhance the teaching and learning opportunities for pupils with additional learning needs. Relevant experience supporting SEND children in a school or childcare setting is desirable but if you feel you have the right qualities for the role and are keen to learn, we would love to hear from you. This is a permanent, part time, term time only role commencing on 1 September 2025. Working hours are 8:45am to 3:15pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 8:30am to 3:15pm on Wednesdays, 29.25 hours per week, over 38 weeks per annum. Working day includes a 45 minute unpaid break.
The role includes LSA duties as set out in the job description and some class cover (paid at the Higher-Level Teaching Assistant pay scale). Please contact us for more information.
