Crynodeb
Suitable post for an experienced registered practitioner who wishes to contribute to the work of the Pre-Assessment Clinic through the provision of high-quality pre-assessment. Working within the code of conduct, be responsible for ones own professional conduct and monitor those aspects within the pre-op team. Responsible for co-ordinating and delivering effective quality nursing care to patients using the service. To contribute to the overall efficiency and development of the pre assessment service. To demonstrate clinical expertise in the pre-assessment and deputise for the lead Nurse. Ensure adherence to the pre-operative assessment policy. Working with the leads of the pre-assessment service to identify and develop clinical changes to working practice and working in different ways to enhance the service provision and patient experience. To actively influence the overall efficiency and development of the pre-operative assessment service. Working with the lead nurse and matron ATP. The post holder will have clinical line management supervision responsibilities for team members.
