Crynodeb
OB PURPOSE The post holder is intended to work at Registrar level, supporting and aiding the clinical ward work, the Outpatient workload and Elective and Emergency operating of the Department. A pay banding supplement is payable for participation in the on-call rota at middle grade level. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: The post holder will be required to develop key working relationships with the following roles within the service and the wider Trust. Consultants Doctors in Training Trust Doctors Nursing Staff Allied Health Professionals Managerial Staff MAIN DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS AREAS: Post-holders will be working at the middle grade level as a Trust Grade Registrar and be Part of a team of 9 at the middle grade level within the General Surgery department. Although this post is not a recognised training post, you will have a wide opportunity to develop your surgical skills and you will be expected to have a strong academic commitment and to be part of the ongoing academic and audit activities of the department. You will be part of a 1 in 8 on call rota.
