Position: Kitchen Assistant

Pay rate: £12.70 per hour, earn £23,774 per annum + Excellent added benefits!
Hours: 36 hours, Days
Rizq Recruit is currently hiring a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join a small, high-end nursing home located in the heart of Burley. This warm, family-run home is renowned for its exceptional care and outstanding support for both residents and staff. Responsibilities as a Kitchen Assistant:
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Assist in meal preparation and service for residents
• Ensure proper food storage and labelling
• Comply with all hygiene and food safety regulations
• Interact kindly and respectfully with residents
Requirements as a Kitchen Assistant:
• Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential – full training provided
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
• Willingness to work alternate weekends
• A team player with a positive attitude
