Job Title: Female Personal Care Assistant
Reporting to: Employer
Location: Bushbury Wolverhampton WV10
Rate of Pay: £13.15 per hour.
Nature of the job role: Providing essential day to day support for Female in her 30’s with Learning Disabilities who is wheelchair dependant living in the WV10 area of Wolverhampton.
Support with all daily living tasks including Personal Care.
Supporting my client over the weekends.
Main Duties:
Personal duties: Assisting with all personal care; washing, dressing, Oral care continence care, monitoring skin integrity on every visit, support with meals and medication support.
Domestic duties: Light domestic duties ensuring the home environment is kept clean & tidy and meal preparation. My client enjoys baking and making new meals to increase her food intake.
Social Duties: To support my client with all social activities.
Hours of work: 13 hours over the weekend
Saturday 6pm-10pm & Sunday 1pm-10pm
** Possible overnight sleep-ins available – To be discussed at interview **
Qualifications:
Previous Care Experience Essential
Car Driver preferable
Skills & Experience:
Successful applicants will require DBS checks.
Driver Preferable – applicant to live in Wolverhampton Preferably.
Only applicants who can deliver a high level of care will be considered. You must be reliable, trustworthy and show an aptitude for this type of work with a willingness to show some flexibility in the hours that you work. Some experience of working with people with complex care needs essential.
