Bank Staff Required - Qualified to Level 2 or 3 in Childcare- Nursery Practitioner
Either fixed regular hours or flexible ad-hoc hours avaliable. Let us know what hours you can work and we will work to accomodate this. You may be looking for flexibility around family life or to get back into the childcare industry. We are happy to discuss individual requirements and provide shifts that work for you. Pay will be dependent on qualification level and experience
We have three settings (Portland Road - Hove, Dyke Road - Hove and Buckingham Park - Shoreham) and you will have the opportunity to work across all of these settings or you can ask to work at a particular branch, but please note all staff may, at times, be asked to work in a different setting due to staff absence.
Here are some of the reasons we believe Young Sussex is a great place to be:
Family-run business with staff well-being as a top priority
Outstanding gradings in our most recent Ofsted Inspections
Many long-standing staff with over 130 years of experience at Young Sussex, within the Management team alone, enabling a secure and knowledgeable environment
Competitive salary reviewed annually
Career progression is encouraged with many opportunities for growth across our three nurseries
In-house and external training (including levels 3, 4, and 5 in childcare as well as paediatric first aid, child protection, and manual handling training)
Birthday gift voucher
Team building including summer outing + staff Christmas party
Long service bonuses (£200 to £800 given every 2 years)
Increased holiday based on length of service (up to 33 days)
Flexible nursery care for your child including half price rates
Refer a friend scheme (£200 paid for each friend employed)
360 degree feedback for reviews and appraisals
