Renal Matron Heather had this message for Psychologists considering this role: The Renal Unit has an amazing highly skilled team, who aim to provide a high standard of individualised care and treatment to patients with established renal failure. Patients are cared for on every step of their journey including pre dialysis, replacement therapies, transplantation and supportive care. Many patients will have experienced transitioning between different therapies during their journey.
