Person specification Experience Essential criteria Previous Medical Secretarial Experience Experience of EPR (Electronic Patient Record) or other PAS system Experience of working in NHS Skills Essential criteria Literacy and Numeracy skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task Audio typing Desirable criteria Excellent people management skills Knowledge Essential criteria Sound knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel and Power-point, internet, e-mail etc Knowledge of EPR (or equivalent system) Knowledge of Medical Terminology Qualifications Essential criteria Educated to GCSE standard* Vocational qualification level 3 or equivalent An appropriate speed and accuracy of typing is required for this role and this will be assessed at interview
