Crynodeb
To recall, in conjunction with the Health Adviser team, patients with untreated infections or those in need of follow up, by text, telephone, letter/recorded letter according to the recall policy and to clearly document all actions taken. To initiate and complete Partner Notification on all patients spoken to re untreated infections and document clearly on the clinical system. Exchange relevant information about patients and contacts with other GUM services where necessary. To manage the e-services work-lists, ensuring that all patients needing treatment or follow up are dealt with according to the Health Adviser guidelines. Manage the online clinical system ensuring patients get their results within the appropriate timeframes. Deal with routine enquiries from both the general public and health professionals about sexually transmitted infections including HIV, referring onto the Health Adviser team where necessary and appropriate. To accurately use the online clinical system to document all positive results/patient based activity clearly and concisely. To make/check appointments as necessary for patients in conjunction with the Health Adviser team. To check SMS and email address daily and deal with any enquires. To assist the Health Adviser team in regular audit activity around key performance indicators including Partner Notification.
