Summary


We are advertising for two Assistant Psychologists to work in the Cognitive Impairment and Dementia Services (CIDS) teams in West London (Ealing and H&F). CIDS is an all age service and the post holder will work with individuals with dementia (or possible dementia) and their carers under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist



We are advertising for two full-time roles :1FTE Assistant Psychologist in Ealing,1 year fixed term contract and1FTE Assistant Psychologist in Hammersmith & Fulham, 1 year fixed term contract.

The communities we serve are diverse and the post holder will work directly with people from many different backgrounds including Asian, Somalian and Arabic speaking communities. Interpreters are used routinely within the service but a knowledge of at least one relevant language (eg Arabic, Farsi, Punjabi, or Hindi) is desirable, (but not essential) for this post. An understanding of working with people from different cultures would also be an advantage.



You will be working within a friendly, well established integrated team and liaise with general health and social care colleagues to provide a service to a wide range of people living with dementia. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to develop your skills in this area





Research activity is encouraged and well supported. Regular individual supervision from an experienced Clinical Psychologist is provided. You would also be able to access the Trust’s training resources to enhance your CPD.
