Join our Growing Team at MIAG (Meeting Individual Aspirations & Goals)
We are a small independent ambitious company based in the South West offering Alternative Learning Provision (ALP) to learners who are disaffected with mainstream education for a variety of reasons. All of our learners have Education, Health & Care Plans and have not experienced the best of times in their education. We offer part-time provision as an ALP with learners benefitting from a flexible approach with bespoke packages of education that meet their needs, aspirations and are designed with them and their interests in mind. We are ambitious and are currently recruiting to our core staff team as we prepare to move forward to DFE registration that will mean that we will then be able to offer our learners (and commissioners) full time packages.
We are based at The Beeches in Brislington, Bristol. We have a vast site and in addition to offering English and Maths for learners through from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4, we offer a range of specialisms and have the following facilities on our site:
> Construction Classroom and Area (we are just entering into a Partnership with Jewsons)
> Hair and Beauty
> Football and Sports (our Football Programme is led by ex professional footballer Barry Hayles)
> Arts
> Forest School
We have a range of staff across our team from a Senior Leadership Team with a dedicated SENCO/DSL; Tutors; ALP Co-ordinators (Teaching Assistant roles) and we also have ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) within our team. We are looking to expand our team and have a number of various roles available.
If you are a teacher with QTS and this opportunity excites you then we are keen to hear from you. For an initial discussion please contact us today.
