Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Science Teacher to join a dedicated team at our special educational needs (SEN) school in Chingford, supporting students aged 6 -16 with a primary focus on visual impairment, as well as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and ADHD.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a setting where science is taught in creative, sensory-informed ways that meet individual learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and accessible science lessons tailored to students with a range of SEN, particularly those with visual impairment

Work closely with specialist staff, including VI teachers and support assistants, to adapt resources and learning strategies

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience or strong interest in teaching pupils with SEN, particularly ASD, ADHD, or visual impairment
