What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a friendly, caring early years mealtime assistant to support our growing lunch club for our three and four year olds at Plym Bridge Nursery School and Day Care. A minimum of an Early Years level 2 qualification would be preferable but not essential. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing young children with a safe and structured mealtime where they can eat and play with their friends happily. They will also have the ability to form positive relationships with young children quickly. They will provide support and encouragement to the children to eat their packed lunch and interact calmly and amicably with their peers.
This post is a permanent post. Working hours will be 11.15am - 1.15pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only.
If you are interested in applying for this post and supporting our thriving nursery school lunch club, please do not hesitate to complete an application form.
Safeguarding is a very important aspect of Plym Bridge Nursery School and Day Care. All applicants will be expected to have a full DBS check and disclose any issues which may be relevant to them working in a nursery.
What the school offers its staff
The Early Years Southwest Stronger Practice Hub is based within our school and we have an excellent support package of professional development for our staff, ensuring they are kept up to date with the latest training and research opportunities.
Commitment to safeguarding
Our school is committed to safeguarding our pupils and we ensure that all staff within the organisation complete a full DBS and complete vetting and barring procedures.
