Are you a creative and experienced childcare professional ready to take the next step in your career? Harry Hotspur Primary School are seeking an After School Club Leader to lead the after school provision and create a safe and engaging environment where children can play and learn beyond the school day.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop a fun and stimulating programme of activities that supports children’s social, emotional, and physical development in a caring and creative setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the club runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis, supporting a small team of play workers, and maintaining a safe and stimulating space where all children can play and learn.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
• Lead, support, and supervise a team of assistants and volunteers to deliver high-quality childcare services.
• Maintain positive, effective communication with parents, carers, and school staff about children’s progress and well-being.
• Provide a variety of engaging and age-appropriate activities (indoor/outdoor, creative, sports, etc.) to stimulate children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
• Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of all children at the club at all times.
