Grace Darling Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner to play a key role in the success of the current early years team and support the development of our children. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced team that is committed to giving every child the best possible start to their education journey.

We are looking for caring, motivated, and creative individuals who are passionate about early years education and dedicated to supporting every child’s unique learning journey. Whether you’re experienced in the sector or just starting out, we’d love to hear from you.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development through purposeful play and planned activities.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and confident to explore.
• Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality care and learning.
• Promote positive behaviour and support children in developing independence and resilience.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, following safeguarding procedures and health & safety guidelines.
