Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a talented individual to help foster a caring and supportive learning environment for our young people. Your experience of pastoral care will place our learners’ welfare at the heart of the school.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to problem solve and provide excellent customer service to our community.
You will have:
• GCSE in English and Maths at grades ‘C’ and above and NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Experience contributing to the development, monitoring and review of IEPs.
• The ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
• Good ICT skills for word-processing and use of learning software, including online resources.

Laisterdyke Leadership Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 18 year olds in Bradford. We joined Star Academies in 2016 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism.
The school was rated ‘good’ in all four areas of the inspection framework during its inspection in January 2023.
We are an ambitious school with high expectations for all of our pupils.
