Do you have a passion for empowering autistic adults to lead fulfilling and independent lives?

A specialist day service in Surrey, dedicated to the lifelong learning and wellbeing of autistic adults, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dedicated team.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference, supporting adults to achieve their personal goals in a vibrant and encouraging environment.

About the role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be instrumental in delivering personalised learning and development programmes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

  • Supporting adults in a variety of activities, including life skills development, vocational training, and community outings.
  • Working collaboratively with our team to implement individualised support plans that promote independence and social inclusion.
  • Assisting our learners in accessing community facilities and activities, which requires a full UK driving licence.
  • Fostering a safe, supportive, and positive environment where every individual is empowered to make their own choices.
  • Accurately recording progress and contributing to regular reviews to ensure the best possible outcomes for our learners.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience, either professional or personal, in supporting autistic individuals.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient individual with a genuine desire to help others.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic team player who can also work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A full, valid UK driving licence and willingness to drive service users is an essential requirement for this position.

What we offer:

  • A supportive and friendly working environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • The chance to be part of a forward-thinking organisation that genuinely transforms lives.
  • A fulfilling role where no two days are the same.

If you are a dedicated and reliable individual with the drive to empower autistic adults, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check.

If you are interested in this opportunity and would like to hear more, please apply now and someone will get straight back to you, or call Paul Hirchfield on 01293 527416
