Salary: £27,970
Full time: 35 hours per week

About us
The Property Ombudsman provides a free, impartial and independent service, helping to resolve disputes between Consumers and Property Agents. We are the largest Ombudsman scheme in the sector and the only one to operate Codes of Practice to raise standards and share best practice in the industry. As a not-for-profit organisation, we have been providing a free-to-use and impartial dispute resolution service since 1990.

We are currently seeking a Senior Membership Administrator to join our dynamic Membership Team. In this pivotal role, you’ll take responsibility for the performance, integrity, and development of our membership database (ACT), produce key reporting metrics, and lead a team dedicated to supporting our valued members.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and administer the ACT membership database, ensuring data quality, consistency and user access control.
• Lead on producing accurate monthly and quarterly membership statistics.
• Train new users on ACT systems and procedures and provide ongoing technical and user support.
• Propose and implement approved changes to the database to enhance functionality and efficiency.
• Act as the key liaison for external technical support and third-party data providers.
• Provide frontline support for complex queries and escalations, both internally and from member agents.
• Line manage and develop a small team, ensuring fair workloads, high performance, and a collaborative culture.

What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
• Educated to A Level / Level 3 or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in database management with a clear understanding of data integrity and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
• Confident analysing complex data sets and producing meaningful reports.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Proven team leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• A proactive, flexible, and resilient approach to challenges.
• An understanding of or interest in the property industry is a plus.
