Do you want to join a global logistics provider as a full time Recycling Warehouse Operative? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Challenge-trg Recruitment team as a Warehouse Operative in Sherburn in Elmet, LS25 6JH.
Pay rate as a Warehouse Operative:
- Day shift: £12.21 p/h
- Night Shift: £13.20 p/h after 12 weeks £14.21
Typical hours as a Recycling Warehouse Operative:
- Flexible shifts - typically 4 on 4 off, but this cannot be guaranteed
- Day shift: 6AM-6PM
- Night Shift: 6PM-6AM
- Must be available to work weekends.
The Recycling Warehouse Operative role includes:
- Loading plastic food trays onto a conveyor belt, the trays are unloaded at the other end and returned to the suppliers
- Unloading cages and trays from trailers, and taking them to a baling machine, where the cardboard and plastic is then pressed into bales, which come out at the other end
- Feeding materials into a baling machine to compress cardboard and plastic into bales
- You must enjoy physical work as you will be on your feet throughout the shifts.
