Crynodeb
Have continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and rehabilitation for a cohort of patients with complex neuro-rehabilitation needs. To lead a nursing team and ensure that high standards of care and rehabilitation are maintained by the whole team Responsibility for the setting of high standards of care and the management of a specialist Neuro-rehabilitation unit, including the deployment and supervision of staff and where the teaching of student and/or extensive nursing intervention is required. To effectively communicate with all the Wards and Departments, within ELHT and externally, and General Practitioners to ensure timely and appropriate admissions and smooth, safe transfers and discharges. Participate in the Band 7 out of hours shift system to provide adequate nurse management cover on the hospital site.
