o Deal with complaints in accordance with practice complaints procedure o Ensure adequate staffing for patient services o Provide induction training and ongoing review o Ensure practice policies are followed and accurate records are kept with particular reference to appointments, post, patient registration, repeat prescriptions, filing systems, births and deaths o Prepare weekly staff rota o Managing holidays o Liaise with management team concerning staffing and organisation of work o Attend staff meetings o Train staff in use of system o Ensure communication systems are running smoothly and doctors and reception staff are kept fully informed of changes in procedures by daily huddles, written communication. o Ensure everything confidential is put away at the end of the day o Ensure that confidentiality is adhered to in terms of patient information and the protection of personal and sensitive data o Maintaining an up to date knowledge of health and safety and infection control. o Identifying the risks involved in work activities and undertaking such activities in way that manages those risks.
