Hourly Rate: £15.00 - £16.50 per hour

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00,Friday: 07:00 - 12:00

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Programmer to join our team, working on Triumph Controls machinery. This is a hands-on role, producing high-precision sheet metal components primarily for Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and program CNC press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal components according to precise engineering drawings.
  • Select appropriate tooling and materials for each individual job.
  • Conduct quality checks using verniers, micrometres, and gauges to ensure parts meet tight tolerances (±0.025mm).
  • Work with a wide range of metals including stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, titanium, nickel alloy, copper, and brass.
  • Produce custom, made-to-order components, including a high volume of one-off items.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience within the aerospace industry.
  • Proven ability to operate and program CNC press brake machines.
  • Strong skills in reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawings.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality work.
  • Solid understanding of various metal types and forming techniques.
  • Basic computer skills for programming and job tracking.
