JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant



A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF



I am a 23 year old gentleman living in the Aberdare area. I have a dog called Pippin who I love to take for walks and take to the park.

I often catch the train into Cardiff as I like shopping, and going into Cardiff bay and visiting Techniquest. I enjoy the beach and I like to go to Barry, this is usually weather permitting. One of my hobbies is pottery and my favourite thing to make is gnomes and gonks. I like a lot of different music, but one of my favourites is Dolly Parton.



PURPOSE OF JOB



To help me engage in the community with social activities.



HOURS OF WORK



4 hours per week any day Wednesday to Saturday.



RATES OF PAY



£12.50 per hour

Preparing me for the day
Picking out the clothes
Meals and preparation
Social outings
Community activities
Shopping
Go out for meals
Household duties
Any other reasonable task

ABOUT THE JOB



Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
