Crynodeb
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust has comprehensive facilities for the diagnosis, care and treatment of ENT disease. The successful candidate will be expected to provide ENT services in conjunction with colleagues and will contribute to the development of ENT services as follows: Clinical Assessment and treat patients referred with ENT conditions Triaging of referrals received by CHFT as well as providing Advice & Guidance Provision of a range of clinical interventions (e.g. micro-suction, flexible nasal endoscopy, audiology, etc.) The knowledge to signpost patients to other support services, including local and national patient support groups Education and Collaborative Responsibilities Support and train primary care colleagues in ENT management Provide remote support (e.g. telephone/email advice) Collaborate with other GPwERs and local ENT teams Service development Help shape integrated ENT pathways across primary and secondary care Develop management guidance for common ENT conditions Contribute to joint training sessions for GPs, nurses and wider MDT
