Are you a Science Teacher who brings curiosity, clarity, and energy into the classroom? A School in the Chelmsford area is looking for a full-time Science Teacher to join their thriving department from September 2025.
This permanent role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys sparking curiosity in students and delivering engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4. Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and adapt lessons to suit a range of learning styles and abilities
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
• Uphold high expectations in behaviour, effort, and achievement
• Participate in departmental planning and school-wide initiatives
• Promote curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning Science
Qualifications and Experience
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school
• Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
• ECTs welcome with induction and mentoring provided
• Strong curriculum knowledge and classroom management
• A commitment to inclusive, student-focused teaching
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
