About the role

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the open spaces around the Borough. Operating ride-on tractor mowing equipment and petrol-powered strimmers alongside other associated machinery maintaining the parks and open spaces to a high standard.

You will also conduct a variety of other works such as tree planting, thinning plantations, hedge cutting, leaf clearance and other related duties.

About you

You will need practical experience within the Grounds Maintenance, open spaces and or parks industry and be experienced in the use and care of associated machinery and equipment.

Alongside this you’ll need to be a competent, dependable, and motivated individual with a keen eye for detail.

A full driving licence is essential.
