Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.

A little about myself:
I am a young boy living in Swansea. I enjoy football and team sports. I love to be outside walking or on the beach. I like going out on my mountain bike, skateboard and scooter. I am looking for an energetic PA to be able to accompany me to go out.

Hours of work:

After school, weekends and school holidays.

Rate of pay: £13.13 per hour.


Essential:
• I need you to have an interest in outdoor activities including forest walks, foraging, beach walks, exploring nature.
• Interests and experiences with skateboarding, scooters and mountain bikes and local pump tracks.
• Interests and understanding of sports, especially football and rugby.

Desirable:
• I’d prefer if: you are able to drive and can be available for after school activities on occasion.

I’d like support with:
• Supporting me with football skills and other team sports.
• Allowing me to explore interests in woodlands and nature.
• Evening and weekends where possible.
• Engaging me in new activities that can develop my social skills.

I will need my PA to:
• Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
• Be confident, mature and have patience.
• Be dependable and arrive on time.
• Be friendly with an easy-going manner.


Concerning the position

A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
