Thorn Baker are currently looking for a motivated Concrete Operative to join our clients team in Alfreton on a temp to perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to establish a long-term career in the construction industry.
Concrete Operative Key Responsibilities:
- Operate concrete machinery and tools to produce and finish concrete products.
- Assist with the pouring, leveling, and finishing of concrete.
- Removing concrete from moulds.
- Ensure all concrete work meets safety and quality standards.
- Work closely with the site team to ensure the smooth operation of concrete-related tasks.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with the set-up, maintenance, and operation of concrete mixing equipment.
Requirements for Concrete operative :
- Previous experience working as a Concrete Operative or in a similar role is essential.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Good physical fitness
- Strong focus on health and safety practices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Benefits:
