Job Description

Role – Day Care Supervisor (Older People Services)
Location – GCHSCP, Orchard Grove Day Care Centre, 19 Prospecthill Circus, Toryglen, Glasgow, G42 0HS
Hours and Shift Pattern – Monday to Friday 9am to 4:30pm
Contract Status – Permanent

At Orchard Grove Day Care, Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP), we provide support to individuals in a Day Care Setting with the goals of maximising independence, reducing social isolation, supporting carers and working in collaboration with service users to understand and meet their goals.

As a Day Care Supervisor, your role will be to supervise a group of key workers ensuring that the coordination of daily activities are carried out. You will work with the Day Care Manager to ensure that the quality of care provided is person centred, meets standards and exceeds expectations by being involved in regular audits. Additionally, you will ensure that the work being done is person centred and meets standards expected from Individuals ,Families, Care Inspectorate, SSSC and GHSCP .

You will:
• Foster teamwork through strong communication skills
• Complete audits and reports with accuracy
• Ensure the health and safety of all service users, staff, and visitors.

We are looking for a warm, compassionate individual with strong values who can build meaningful connections between individuals, staff, families, and management.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above role will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.

These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
