We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Higher Learning TeachingAssistant to join our team at Telscombe Cliffs Academy. Strong literacy/numeracy skills are essential, as well as the ability to relate well to children and adults. This post is for supporting individual and small groups of children with interventions that have a positive impact on their learning. You will also be required to provide support with children with high needs. This post is part of a permanent contract offering at Telscombe Cliffs Academy.
Our ideal candidate will:
• Have experience of working within a school setting and be highly proactive and committed to going that extra mile to ensure pupils achieve the best they possibly can;
• Have experience of planning and undertaking interventions that have a positive impact on pupils and their learning outcomes;
• Be able to communicate with all staff and pupils;
• Display a commitment to the Trust’s equalities policies;
• An understanding of, and prior experience of supporting children with special needs is desirable.
