Our Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible Teacher to join a team of dedicated staff who are committed to providing an excellent learning environment and become part of a successful team in a busy working environment.

Our school is committed to providing care and support to some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable children in the city. You would need to be flexible and committed to working as part of a team.

You will need to:

• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have GCSE Grade C or above in mathematics or English or equivalent qualification
• Be willing to undertake regular training and professional development as and when required
• Have working knowledge of SEND Code of Practice 0-25 years
• Have a secure knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Have experience of teaching children or young people with SEND including Autism and ADHD in a mainstream, resource base or special school setting
• Have the ability to teach the primary curriculum and the ability to teach outside of your specialism if required
• Remain calm under pressure
• Be committed to supporting the aims of the academy.
