Student Experience Manager
Southwark College, part of NCG Group (a leading national provider of education and training) is looking to recruit a talented Student Experience Manager to lead part of our Student Experience team to support our students. Based at our Southwark College site, close to Waterloo Station, the successful candidate will work under the leadership of the Assistant Principal Student Experience and manage a team of 5 Learning Mentors to deliver the 16-18 Study Programme tutorial and enrichment offer to students.
The main duties of the post holder are:
- Develop and support Learning Mentors to deliver the tutorial curriculum aligned with the NCG Guarantee (Employability, Community, Enterprise, Mental Fitness and Digital), ensuring clear learner outcomes that are tracked and reported.
- Design and implement a half termly event & enrichment plan that compliments the tutorial curriculum.
- Manage delegated budgets effectively,
- Establish highly effective communication with staff and students.
- Conduct student focus groups to gather, track and report feedback, using insights to improve tutorials and maximise attendance.
- Lead initiatives to increase tutorial attendance, including morning and lunch time meet and greets, student incentives, and targeted support for those with low attendance.
- Promote and encourage student use of college communication platforms such as eNotify and the Teams Learner Hub.
- Lead on the promotion of enrichment activities to inspire participation and increase access to the Enrichment offer.
- Lead on planning and execution of half termly student awards and the annual awards ceremony as required.
