20 hours per week (10am to 2.00pm for 39 weeks)Singlegate Primary School is a successful, friendly and inclusive primary school. We seek to employ an enthusiastic and motivated Kitchen Assistant. This unique position working in a busy kitchen and supervising children, is for 20 hours per week, term time plus INSET days. We serve a culturally diverse community in Colliers Wood. We were judged as ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED in January 2024. We are a happy school where children enjoy learning and achieving in the context of a rich, vibrant, broad and balanced curriculum. Our school needs you if you are a person with a true interest in all children and have a passion for enabling and empowering them to learn and achieve. You should be inspiring, motivated, organised and talented. We are looking for someone who: • Is an approachable, hardworking team player who holds high expectations of themselves and others
• Is able to communicate effectively with all members of the school community
• Is willing to join in with the activities that the children are playing during lunch, either inside or outside of the school building, being especially vigilant as to the health, safety and security of the children within their care.We can offer you: • Children who are curious, keen and enthusiastic to learn
