Salary: Dependent on experience.

Contract Type: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their lovely team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across the years. You will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential and develop a love for food, nutrition, and culinary skills.
Key responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective food technology lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies


Requirements

*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

*A degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.

*Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level.*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for food and nutrition.

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities

*Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
